GrrrOUCH! Pain is like a grouchy bear

In GrrrOUCH! Pain is like a grouchy bear, Cathryn Morgan has created a story that a weary parent could read to their suffering, sleepless child anytime, day or night, and that a child would want to read again and again. Told from a child's perspective, the tone of the story is calm and compassionate, yet whimsical too. The rhyming text is paired with vibrant illustrations by artist Crystal Beshara that are designed to echo emotions, to trigger discussion, and to emphasize how other children learn to cope with their pain. Suitable for children ages six to ten, who are coping with physical or emotional pain, the book's message would also be helpful, for any child, in learning to understand the pain or illness of a grandparent or other family member.
